My Shoes by Werewinterwolf My Shoes by Werewinterwolf
On Monday, I decided to go outside... so beautiful for a suburban neighborhood. I took my shoes off on the asphalt and seat near the semi burnt grass. I wanted the grass in the shoe, but it would have gotten messy :) so then, I drew the shoes alone and then drew the grass on the shoe behind. After I returned to school, I went on Photoshop and enhanced it using levels & color adjustment layers.

Inspirations (bad compared to the following artworks):
~BleednShadow's Analytical Drawings [link]
=Nefyr's L'Arabesque [link]

You have some great detail here and have defined the shoes very well. If you're making a portfolio, this is definitely a worthy piece. What size paper did you draw it on? The two things I'd suggest are to clean up your line work, and bring out your shading more. If you're having trouble shading, then add more digital color.

Actually there was no digital color, I played with the levels (brightness/contrast) I used 4A paper (8.5 x 11 inches) :) Thanks for the comment :)

Then what medium is the grass and flowers?

Grah, you can do great detail on a smaller paper.

Those are all the reasons why the work looks bad, but thanks anyways :)
